Privacy Policy

1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Oris Discord bot ("Oris") caches and stores, why it stores that information, and how you can request its deletion. Oris is engineered to hold the minimum data required to operate its moderation, security, economy, and premium modules — nothing more.
2. Discord User IDs
Oris caches Discord User IDs (numeric snowflakes) for every user who interacts with a command, participates in the economy, enters a giveaway, or is targeted by a moderation action. These IDs are the primary key for wallet balances, inventory entries, warn records, whitelist status, and giveaway participation. Oris does not store Discord passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, or payment information.
3. Guild ID Configuration Matrices
For every guild in which Oris is deployed, the bot stores a Guild ID and a configuration matrix. This matrix contains: enabled/disabled state of anti-nuke and anti-raid watchers, threshold values (kick limits, ban limits, mass-join caps, account-age minimums), whitelist entries, shop inventory, custom multipliers, premium activation status, and backup snapshots created via `,pbackup`.
4. Cached Interaction Data
To provide features such as `,psnipe` (deleted-message retrieval) and giveaway live-entry collectors, Oris temporarily caches message metadata: message ID, author ID, channel ID, timestamp, and content. Deleted-message cache entries are retained for a rolling window and are only accessible to premium guilds via the appropriate command.
5. What Oris Does NOT Store
Oris does not store: Discord passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, real names, payment card data, direct-message contents from outside its operational scope, or any data classified as sensitive personal information under GDPR Article 9.
6. Data is Never Sold
Oris does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise commercially transfer user data or guild configuration data to any third party. Ever. There are no advertising partners, no data brokers, and no analytics vendors in the data pipeline.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
When Oris is removed from a guild, associated guild configuration data is retained for 30 days to allow for accidental re-invite, and is then permanently purged. Users may request deletion of their personal ledger data (wallet, inventory, warns) at any time by contacting the operations team through the official support Discord.
8. Third-Party APIs
Certain commands fetch content from third-party APIs: `,meme` uses meme-api.com, `,cat` uses thecatapi.com, `,dog` uses dog.ceo, and `,urban` uses the Urban Dictionary API. These requests are proxied through the Oris backend and do not transmit user-identifying data beyond the requesting Guild ID for rate-limit attribution.
9. Security
Backup snapshots and premium activation records are stored with a signature verification key to prevent unauthorized load operations. Database access is restricted to authenticated operations personnel. All internal traffic is transported over TLS.
